Communicate Ct in Cape Town is seeking Battery Energy Storage System Engineers passionate about renewable energy and the evolving energy storage sector. The role focuses on BESS design, integration, and project delivery with emphasis on electrical system design and grid connection.

Candidates should hold a BEng or BSc in Electrical Engineering and have Renewable energy/BESS experience; ECSA registration is advantageous.

Skills & Experience:

• Battery Energy Storage System design and engineering
• Renewable energy and energy storage projects
• Electrical system design and integration
• Grid connection and power systems experience
• Experience with PVSol, PVSyst, ETAP or similar advantageous
• BESS sizing and system configuration
• Technical project support and commissioning
• Knowledge of grid codes and electrical standards advantageous

Qualification:

• BEng / BSc Electrical Engineering or related qualification
• Renewable energy / BESS experience
• ECSA registration advantageous
