Job summary

Greys in Mpumalanga seeks a motivated Battery Fitment Salesman to drive sales growth and build strong customer relationships. You will provide professional battery fitment services and advise customers on products.

Responsibilities include assisting walk-in customers, performing battery testing and fitment, processing sales, and ensuring neat, stocked displays while upholding excellent service standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) as a minimum
• Sales certificate or related qualification advantageous
• 1–3 years' retail sales experience
• Battery fitment experience essential
• Computer literate
• Good communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in customers with battery and related product sales
• Perform battery testing, replacement and fitment
• Provide product recommendations and technical advice to customers
• Process sales, quotations and customer transactions accurately
• Promote current specials and new products
• Assist with stock control, stock rotation and replenishment
• Ensure shelves and displays are neat and well-stocked
• Handle customer queries, returns and claims professionally
• Maintain excellent customer service standards
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards
