Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and hot and cold beverages according to company standards.
• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other barista equipment.
• Take customer orders accurately and process payments where required.
• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
• Confidently engage and interact with customers in a warm and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organised coffee station and work area.
• Ensure coffee, milk, syrups, cups, and other supplies are adequately stocked.
• Monitor the quality, freshness, and presentation of beverages.
• Assist with food preparation and service when required.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures.
• Handle customer queries and resolve basic complaints professionally.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or damaged items to management.
• Work effectively as part of a team during busy periods.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management.

Minimum Requirements

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar hospitality/customer service role.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation and basic coffee-making techniques.
• Fluent in English, with strong verbal communication skills.
• Confident and comfortable engaging and interacting with customers.
• Friendly, outgoing, and customer-service orientated.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good attention to detail and presentation.
