Job summary

Brights in South Africa is seeking a Store Associate to ensure stock is correctly marked, labeled and packed for customer orders, supporting efficient store operations.

You will work closely with the team to label incoming stock, assist with picking and pre-packing, and maintain safe, tidy work areas while meeting deadlines.

The role requires matric or equivalent, at least one year of similar experience, and flexibility to work shifts and holidays.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent with 120 credits.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Willing to work flexible hours and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Mark stock with barcode stickers when needed.
• Mark incoming orders within the time specified by Team Leader.
• Pack stock in the correct department and location.
• Pack stock neatly and in a non-hazardous manner.
• Assist with stock picking.
• Assist merchandisers with pre-packing of stock.
• Maintain merchandising standards (box coding, sub-department packing, safe stacking).
• Follow supervisor instructions and store procedures.
• Report to supervisor during breaks or restrooms.
• Participate in perpetual stock takes.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Perform any other task as delegated by supervisor.
