Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate banquet and event service operations.
• Lead and support the banqueting service team during events.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and maintain 5* hospitality standards.
• Brief staff before events regarding service requirements and event details.
• Monitor service quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest requests and resolve service issues professionally.
• Ensure banquet venues are clean, organized, and properly prepared.
• Coordinate effectively with kitchen, bar, and event teams.
• Maintain compliance with hygiene, health, and safety standards.
• Assist with stock control, equipment handling, and operational reporting.
• Provide a warm and welcoming experience to guests, ensuring their satisfaction and comfort.
• Receive guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Receive meal orders and serve food and beverages to guests.
• Ensure cleanliness of dining areas, including setting and clearing tables.

Requirements

• Hospitality‑related qualification advantageous.

• Experience working in a hotel banqueting / conferencing environment preferable.
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
• Ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Experience in menu and food pairing.
• Knowledge of cocktails, wines, and other alcoholic beverages is advantageous.
• Well‑groomed and professional disposition.
