Job summary

AES Global is seeking an Intermediate Back-End Developer (C#) to help build its insurance-management platform and translate business requirements into robust back-end features. You’ll work across the SDLC, translating requirements into technical specifications and implementing new product features.

You’ll collaborate with product owners and architects, conduct impact analysis, and manage code with Git. This hybrid role is based in Cape Town with two days in the office, and requires a solid grasp

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of SDLC, software design patterns and OO design.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Core 3.1 and .NET 6, RESTful APIs, Azure, Git and EF Core.
• An IT degree or diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners and architects to translate requirements into deliverables.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications and conduct impact analysis.
• Implement technical specifications and develop new product features.
• Manage code, merges and version control with Git.
• Test your work before hand-off to QA and create user documentation.
• Take part in scrum processes.
