Placements24 is seeking a skilled Blockchain Developer with a strong backend focus to join our team in Polokwane. You will build and maintain backend services, APIs, and smart contracts powering our blockchain applications, ensuring security, scalability, and performance.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Node.js, Python, Go or Java, plus blockchain tech (Ethereum/Hyperledger), databases, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven backend development experience with Node.js, Python, Go or Java.
• Experience with blockchain technologies and protocols (Ethereum, Hyperledger).
• Familiarity with smart contract development and integration.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL database knowledge.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of blockchain security principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment.

Responsibilities
