Job summary

Odixcity Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Azure Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure in South Africa. The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of hands-on cloud architecture experience and deep knowledge of Azure services and best practices.

The role involves designing secure, scalable Azure infrastructures, developing architecture standards, optimizing resources for performance and cost, and leading cloud migration

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Azure cloud architecture or senior engineering experience.
• Deep knowledge of Azure core services (VMs, VNet, Azure AD, Storage, App Services, AKS, SQL).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform) and DevOps practices.
• Strong scripting and security awareness.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy secure, scalable Azure infrastructures
• Develop cloud architecture standards, policies, and roadmaps
• Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency
• Implement security, governance, and compliance controls
• Automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code tools
• Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams
• Monitor system performance and resolve infrastructure issues
• Lead cloud migration and modernization projects
