Job summary

Network Contracting Solutions in Durban is seeking an experienced Azure Solutions Architect to lead enterprise cloud initiatives across Gauteng and beyond. You will shape cloud strategy, drive cost optimisations, and deliver secure, scalable, hybrid infrastructure aligned to business goals.

Collaborate with technical and executive stakeholders, design landing zones, governance, migration plans, and resilient architectures while managing FinOps and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator.
• 4–8 years in IT infrastructure, cloud, or architecture roles.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, governance, migration).
• Experience in hybrid cloud and large enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Exposure to AWS and FinOps is beneficial.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and solution design experience.

• Design and implement Azure cloud architecture including IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid solutions
• Develop and govern Azure landing zones, security models, and cost optimisation strategies (FinOps)
