Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Aviation Systems Integration Engineer to join our team in Mahikeng. This hybrid role focuses on integrating avionics, electrical and mechanical systems, and validating performance for reliable aircraft operation.

You will plan tests, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with designers, hardware and software teams to ensure seamless system integration across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 4 years in aviation systems integration or similar role.
• Solid knowledge of aircraft electrical systems and data buses (ARINC 429, CAN).

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and document system integration tests for aircraft components.
• Identify and resolve integration issues and discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with system designers, hardware engineers and software developers.
• Develop and maintain test procedures and documentation.
• Participate in design reviews and provide integration feedback.
• Troubleshoot integrated systems during flight testing and operation.
