Placements24 is seeking an experienced Aviation Systems Integration Engineer to join our team in Mahikeng. This hybrid role focuses on integrating avionics, electrical and mechanical systems, and validating performance for reliable aircraft operation.

You will plan tests, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with designers, hardware and software teams to ensure seamless system integration across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 4 years in aviation systems integration or similar role.
• Solid knowledge of aircraft electrical systems and data buses (ARINC 429, CAN).

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and document system integration tests for aircraft components.
• Identify and resolve integration issues and discrepancies promptly.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integration test procedures and documentation.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on system integration aspects.
• Troubleshoot and debug integrated systems during flight testing and operational phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in aviation systems integration or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of aircraft electrical systems, avionics, and data buses (e.g., ARINC 429, CAN bus).
• Experience with testing methodologies and tools, including simulation and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex integrated systems.
• Familiarity with aerospace certification requirements is a plus.
