Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Aircraft Systems Engineer to join the Centurion team. This role focuses on the design, development, integration and testing of complex aircraft systems ensuring safety and reliability.

You will collaborate with aerodynamics, structures, and avionics teams to deliver cutting-edge aircraft solutions. The position offers a hybrid work model balancing office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft systems engineering or related aerospace discipline.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAE software and systems modeling tools (CATIA, SolidWorks, MATLAB/Simulink).
• Strong understanding of aircraft structures, aerodynamics, propulsion, and avionics.
• Experience with DO-178C and DO-254 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate aircraft systems including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and environmental control systems.
• Perform system integration to ensure interaction between components and subsystems.
• Conduct testing and simulation to verify performance against specs and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during design, manufacturing, or operation.
• Prepare technical documentation including design specs, test reports, and maintenance manuals.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and flight test teams to support production and flight operations.
