Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Aviation Project Manager to lead major aviation initiatives in Kimberley. The role blends on-site and remote coordination, overseeing timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder communications for complex infrastructure upgrades and fleet enhancements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, 8+ years in project management with aviation experience, strong PM knowledge (PMP/Agile), and outstanding leadership and communication

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with a significant portion in aviation.
Proven track record of managing complex aviation projects.
Strong understanding of PM methodologies (PMP, Agile).
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of aviation projects from initiation to completion.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources.
Oversee project teams, contractors, and vendors, ensuring objectives and quality standards.
Provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate project risks with contingency planning.
Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, safety standards, and policies.
