Placements24 is seeking an Aviation Operations Coordinator in Bloemfontein to manage day-to-day flight operations. You will coordinate schedules, ground support, and communicate with flight crews and maintenance teams to ensure on-time performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or related field, 2-3 years of aviation operations experience, and strong organizational skills. You will work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in aviation operations or flight coordination.
• Strong understanding of flight operations procedures and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and aviation operations software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate flight schedules and ensure operational requirements are met.
• Liaise with pilots, maintenance crews, and ground handling personnel.
• Manage flight clearances, permits, and operational documentation.
• Monitor flight progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Respond to and manage operational disruptions and emergencies effectively.
