Placements24 seeks an organized Aviation Ground Operations Coordinator to oversee ground handling services at a regional airport hub in Mahikeng. You will coordinate with flight crews, baggage handlers, maintenance teams and airport staff to ensure safe, timely aircraft turnarounds.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in airline ground operations, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in airline ground operations or airport management.
• Knowledge of ramp safety and aircraft turnaround.
• Strong communication, leadership and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
• Experience with airport operational software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise ground handling activities including servicing, baggage handling, and passenger boarding.
• Liaise with flight crews for timely departures and arrivals.
• Manage scheduling and allocation of ground support equipment and personnel.
• Monitor flight schedules and address delays proactively.
• Ensure safety regulations and procedures are followed.
