Job summary
Technological Innovations Group (TIG) is seeking a Technical Support Engineer in Johannesburg to support the regional market in close collaboration with local sales managers. You will configure and troubleshoot Crestron products, provide expert support to customers, and act as a liaison between customers and internal teams.
The role emphasizes field support for the sales team, training partners, and delivering technical guidance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in AV programming or similar.
- Degree or diploma in IT/Computing or related field.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting to customers, dealers and partners for Crestron products.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in Crestron control systems.
- Assist with installation guidance, system configuration, and programming support for Crestron devices.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering and product teams on complex inquiries.
- Develop documentation, knowledge base articles and technical guides.
