Placements24 is seeking an Automotive Test Engineer to join their East London testing facility. Design, execute, and analyze tests on automotive components to ensure quality and performance in a hands-on environment.

The role requires a engineering degree and proven testing experience, proficiency with data acquisition systems and testing software, and strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as Automotive Test Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and components.
• Proficiency with data acquisition systems and testing software.
• Experience designing and conducting automotive tests.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test plans and procedures for automotive components and systems.
• Execute tests including functional, performance, durability and environmental testing.
• Operate and maintain test equipment and instrumentation accurately.
• Analyze test data, interpret results and generate reports.
• Collaborate with engineers to identify root causes and propose design improvements.
• Ensure compliance with testing standards and safety regulations.
