Placements24 is seeking an Automotive Software Engineer to design, develop, and test software for next-generation automotive systems. You will work on embedded software, infotainment, and ADAS features alongside hardware engineers and system architects.

The ideal candidate has strong programming skills, a passion for automotive technology, and a meticulous approach to software development within a collaborative engineering culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience with embedded or automotive software.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/EE or related field.
• Proficiency in C++, C, or similar languages.
• Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN/LIN/Ethernet).
• Familiarity with SDLC, Git, and testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement robust software components for automotive applications using C++, Java, or Python.
• Develop and test embedded software for microcontrollers and ECUs, ensuring real-time performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and architecture for new features.
• Perform unit, integration, and system testing to ensure software quality.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues, optimizing code for performance and efficiency.
• Contribute to development of software processes and tooling.
