Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an enthusiastic Automotive Sales Consultant to join a busy dealership in Tembisa. You will be the primary contact for customers, guiding them from inquiry to delivery. This role emphasizes excellent communication, product knowledge, and relationship building to exceed sales targets.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in automotive sales or related customer-facing sales.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for automotive industry and product knowledge.
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage with potential customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable vehicle options.
• Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
• Negotiate pricing and financing options to close sales effectively.
• Build and maintain a strong customer database for follow-up and repeat business.
• Process sales paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the finance and service departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
