Placements24 in Benoni is seeking an Automotive Performance Engineer to design, test, and refine vehicle performance systems, including engine tuning, suspension upgrades, and aerodynamics.

You will apply deep knowledge of vehicle dynamics and engine thermodynamics, work with cutting-edge technology, and collaborate with design and fabrication teams to push track capability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of automotive performance engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of engine thermodynamics, vehicle dynamics, and fluid dynamics.
• Experience with ECU tuning software and data acquisition systems.
• CAD experience is a plus.

• Design and develop performance-oriented engine tuning software and hardware solutions.
