Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of mechanical design experience; automotive industry preferred.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA or similar CAD tools.
• Experience with FEA for simulation and analysis.
• Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and sub-assemblies for automotive applications using 3D CAD software.
• Create detailed drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
• Perform engineering analysis including stress, thermal and vibration analysis.
• Collaborate with R&D on new product concepts and feasibility studies.
• Work with manufacturing to ensure designs are production-ready (DFM).
• Support prototype development, testing and validation activities.
• Troubleshoot design issues encountered during production or testing.
• Ensure designs comply with automotive industry standards (ISO/TS 16949).
