You will develop test plans, diagnose integration issues, work with hardware and software teams, and stay ahead of automotive electronics trends, contributing to high-quality vehicle systems at our Paarl facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering.
• 4+ years in automotive electronics integration.
• Strong understanding of automotive electrical architectures.
• Proficient in CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet.
• Experience with diagnostic tools (Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, Kvaser).
• Embedded software development and debugging a plus.
• Excellent analytical, detail-oriented, and team-oriented skills.

Responsibilities

• Integrate ECUs and systems ensuring interoperability and proper communication.
• Develop and execute test plans for integration focusing on functionality and reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software integration issues.
• Define and manage interface specifications between ECUs and subsystems.
• Use diagnostic tools and oscilloscopes to analyze system behavior.
• Document integration processes, test results, and resolutions clearly.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to meet integration requirements.
• Participate in system-level testing and validation.
• Stay updated on emerging automotive electronics technologies.
