Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical system faults in vehicles, including battery, charging, starting, lighting, and accessory systems.
• Install and configure automotive electrical components, such as alarms, sound systems, GPS, and other electronic devices.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Perform software updates and module programming for various vehicle electronic control units (ECUs).
• Inspect and test vehicle wiring harnesses for damage or corrosion and perform necessary repairs.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Provide clear explanations to customers regarding electrical repairs and maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with other technicians to ensure comprehensive vehicle diagnostics and repairs.
• Stay current with advancements in automotive electrical technology and diagnostic techniques.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Electrician or in a similar specialized role.
• Certification or equivalent qualification in Automotive Electrical Systems is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and technical schematics.
