About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly qualified Automotive Electrical Systems Engineer to join their fully remote team. This role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, contributing to the design, development, and validation of complex automotive electrical systems and architectures. You will be responsible for everything from power distribution and battery management systems to wiring harness design and integration of electronic control units (ECUs). The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of automotive electrical principles, schematic design tools (e.g., Zuken E3, Capital), and simulation software. This is a remote-first position, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams dispersed globally. This role is based in our operational area of Paarl, Western Cape, ZA , but requires no physical presence there.
