Job summary

Rosstone is seeking an engineering professional to support the release of vehicle body components through established processes and systems in a South African setting. The role involves solving design-related issues across local platforms and maintaining BOM records, with coordination of testing and component releases.

Preference for candidates with German or Portuguese language ability, initiative, and strong communication across levels.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years experience in Supplier/Quality/Engineering of automotive components.
• Development /Improvements / Problem solving.
• Initiative, self-starter able to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills to all levels.
• Willingness to travel and learn German & Portuguese language.

Responsibilities

• Release vehicle body components via engineering processes and systems.
• Resolve design-related problems on all locally manufactured platforms.
• Keep accurate records of part level and software built in production (Bill of Materials).
• Coordinate testing and release of components and systems.
• Initiate and drive cost savings on components into production.
