Job summary

Rosstone is seeking a driven Process Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of projects—from concept through to commissioning—within a fast-paced engineering consultancy focused on FMCG, food & beverage, and brewing sectors.

You will lead process design, oversee project implementation and commissioning, provide on-site technical support, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and engage directly with clients on local and international

Qualifications

• BEng in Chemical Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of Process Engineering experience in CAPEX projects.
• 5+ years in Food & Beverage / FMCG.
• Strong skills in process design and simulation tools such as Aspen/HYSYS.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design from concept to detailed engineering (PFDs, P&IDs, mass & energy balances, equipment sizing).
• Oversee project implementation and commissioning, ensuring efficient system performance.
• Provide on-site technical support during installations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage directly with clients.
• Contribute to projects locally and internationally.
