Job summary

Profile Personnel is seeking an experienced engineering professional in Gqeberha, South Africa. The role focuses on ensuring that motor vehicle components perform consistently to specifications throughout their lifecycle. Candidates should have a relevant diploma/degree and at least 3 years of experience in the manufacturing sector.

Key responsibilities include managing qualification programs for new parts, implementing continuous improvements, and testing parts to specifications. Expertise in motor vehicle components and quality tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of Pro CKD.
• Prepared to travel locally and overseas at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Initiating and managing the Qualifying Program for new part introduction.
• Implementing continuous improvement by identifying root causes for part deviations.
• Testing and evaluating the performance of parts according to specifications.

Skills

Technical knowledge of motor vehicle components and systems

Knowledge of applicable motor vehicle parts

Computer literacy (Ms Office)

Knowledge of Quality Tools (DOE, SPC, FMEA)

Ability to interpret technical drawings

Education

National Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Polymer
