Job summary

Byte Orbit is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and execute automated tests across Web, Mobile, and API platforms. You will integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

You will work with Python-based frameworks (Robot Framework, Pytest) and tools like Appium, Postman, and QA Touch, contributing to test strategy, defect lifecycle, and coverage across Web, Mobile, and API

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience writing automated and manual test cases.
• Experience with CI tools (GitLab pipelines) and executing automated tests.
• Experience with mobile devices in automation (Maestro or Appium).
• Experience using QA Touch or similar test management platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable automated test scripts for Web, Mobile, and API using Python.
• Develop automated regression, smoke, and functional tests; integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
• Log, verify, and retest defects using JIRA; ensure traceability to acceptance criteria.
