Job summary

Klipboard is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer for our Mobile Applications group to own and evolve mobile automation frameworks for iOS and Android. You will design, implement, and maintain robust automated tests, ensuring stability and broad regression coverage while mentoring QA engineers transitioning to automation.

Collaborate with tech leads, developers, and QA to define test strategy, architecture, and integration points.

Qualifications

• Must have strong commercial experience in mobile test automation
• Hands-on Appium experience for iOS and Android
• Strong proficiency in C#
• Solid understanding of mobile app architecture and testing challenges
• Experience building, maintaining and owning automation frameworks
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred)
• Strong focus on test stability, reliability and regression coverage
• Experience collaborating with developers and tech leadership
• Ability to mentor other QA engineers in automation best practices

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile test automation frameworks using Appium (iOS & Android)
• Own and improve the automation framework, tooling, and test architecture
• Expand automated regression coverage with emphasis on stability and reliability
• Write and maintain automated tests for mobile apps (Android priority)
• Reduce flaky tests and improve test execution feedback
• Collaborate with Tech Leads and developers on strategy and integration points
• Mentor QA engineers moving into automation
• Work with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) to improve automation execution
• Discuss test infrastructure incl. devices, emulators, and device farms
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and quality initiatives across teams
