This position blends on-site analysis with remote strategic planning and documentation. You will collaborate with vendors and internal teams, develop SOPs, and drive continuous improvement across automated processes, leveraging Lean

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years in industrial/manufacturing with a focus on automation.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing automated systems, PLC controls, and robotics.
• Familiarity with simulation software and data analysis tools relevant to automation.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their application in automated environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid team setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for automation.
• Design, specify, and oversee the implementation of automated systems, PLCs, and robotics.
• Develop process simulations and models to evaluate the effectiveness of proposed automation projects.
• Collaborate with external vendors and internal engineering teams on automation system integration and validation.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials for automated processes.
