Job summary

Exceed Human Resource Consultants seeks a driven Automation Engineer to join our project teams in South Africa. You will develop practical automation solutions, assist with control panel layouts, and program PLCs for irrigation and automation systems.

You will travel to project sites across Southern Africa as required, providing technical support and product assistance to clients. Requirements include a degree in Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with final-year graduates

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Final-year graduates may apply.
• Interest in PLC programming and Modbus RTU/TCP/IP.
• Interest in variable speed drives, solar PV and grid systems.
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi, Ethernet and networking.
• Strong admin and technical documentation skills.
• Programming knowledge in Java, Python, C#, C++, SQL is advantageous.
• Self-driven, solutions-oriented with strong teamwork.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally and valid driver's licence.
