Where You'll Make an Impact:
Analyze historical sales data, dealer demand, and market trends to accurately forecast parts requirements.
Monitor stock movements and recommend adjustments to ensure optimal inventory levels.
Identify and manage fast-moving, slow-moving, and obsolete stock, implementing necessary corrective actions.
Generate comprehensive monthly and quarterly demand reports for management review.
Place and track orders with local and international suppliers, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to lead times.
Negotiate favourable terms with suppliers while maintaining quality standards.
Monitor currency fluctuations, shipping costs, and customs duties to optimise landed costs.
Maintain a healthy stock level to minimise backorders and lost sales.
Support warehouse operations with clear procurement and delivery instructions.
Collaborate with logistics providers to track shipments and resolve delays.
Ensure compliance with OEM parts policies and procedures.
Prepare regular reports on stock performance, fill rates, and procurement KPIs.
Track supplier performance and escalate non-conformance issues.
Maintain accurate pricing, cost updates in the ERP system, and proper documentation.
Requirements:
3 to 5 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or automotive parts management.
Strong analytical skills and experience with demand forecasting.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
Excellent negotiation and supplier management abilities.
Well-organized with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
Experience with export procedures and the R programming language is advantageous.
