Job summary

Career Connect (Pty) Ltd is seeking an Audit Specialist in Bedfordview to perform audits, independent reviews and financial statement compilations in accordance with IAS/IFRS, ISA, Caseware and Probe. The role requires strong time management to meet deadlines and budgets.

The ideal candidate has SAICA articles completed, a BCompt Accounting Science or equivalent, and CTA 1/2 in progress. Travel to Johannesburg, Cape Town and KZN clients is expected, with a monthly travel allowance and no hybrid

Qualifications

• Completed and discharged SAICA articles.
• BCompt Accounting Science or equivalent, completed or nearing completion.
• CTA 1/2 completed, in progress or registering next semester/year.
• IAC/APC advantageous.
• Intermediate Caseware Working Papers and Excel essential.
• No Auditor-General work experience.
• Own transport and valid licence; preferably residing within 40 km or willing to relocate.
• Willing to travel to Johannesburg, Cape Town and KZN clients, approximately four trips yearly.
• Own laptop: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit, 2 GHz processor, 8 GB RAM, plus internet access.

Audit Specialist for an established accounting and auditing firm required in Bedfordview.

Salary: R25,000–R40,000 per month.

REQUIREMENTS

• Completed and discharged SAICA articles.
• BCompt Accounting Science or equivalent, completed or nearing completion.
• CTA 1/2 completed, in progress or registering next semester/year.
• IAC/APC advantageous.
• Intermediate Caseware Working Papers and Excel essential.
• No Auditor-General work experience.
• Own transport and valid licence; preferably residing within 40 km or willing to relocate.
