Job summary

Sagen Advisory in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join an established and expanding audit firm. You will lead audit engagements, supervise trainees, and assist directors with client management and engagement planning.

The ideal candidate holds SAICA articles with an undergraduate degree, and has solid CaseWare Working Papers expertise. A Provident fund and performance bonuses are part of the package.

Qualifications

• AGA(SA) qualification with SAICA articles completed.
• Undergraduate degree required; SAICA articles completed.
• Experience with CaseWare Working Papers is important.

• Managing and assisting on audit and independent review engagements from planning through to completion.
• Reviewing and supervising work performed by trainees.
• Training and developing trainees within the team.

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Audit Senior to join an established an expanding audit firm in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.

This firm of Chartered Accountants (SA) and Registered Auditors offer a variety of services with the aim of continuously looking for cost-effective, value-added solutions to their clients' business needs.

The candidate should preferably be an AGA(SA), hold the relevant degree and completed SAICA articles.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing and assisting on audit and independent review engagements from planning through to completion.

• Reviewing and supervising work performed by trainees.

• Training and developing trainees within the team.

• Assisting the directors with the day-to-day management of clients and engagements.

• Assisting with the overall planning and completion of engagements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• AGA(SA).

• Must have completed SAICA articles.

• Must have at least an undergraduate degree.

• Good CaseWare Working Papers experience is important.

• Prior experience supervising or reviewing trainee work would be advantageous

• Experience with CaseWare.

Remuneration:

• R360,000 to R480,000 pa cost to company salary including benefits.

• Company provident fund contributions at 12.5%.

• Performance based bonuses.
