Au Pair Extraordinaire in Glenferness is seeking an au pair for three children aged 13, 10 and 4. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 13:00 to 17:00, with potential full-day hours during school holidays. Start mid-October 2026 on a permanent contract.

The role includes school collections, transport to activities, homework supervision, medical appointments and daily communication via the school app. Must have a valid driver’s license, own car with driving experience, and a clear criminal

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal childcare experience within the last 2 years.
• Own reliable car with at least 18 months driving experience.
• At least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Clear criminal record.
• Passion for children.
• Matric.
• South African ID document.
• Fraudulent CVs are punishable by law; references are checked.

Responsibilities

• School collections and drop-offs during travel weeks.
• Transport to and from extracurricular activities and sports.
• Homework supervision and study support for primary and high school.
• Monitor school app, emails and school circulars; flag necessary info.
• Medical and dental appointments as required.

A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their children aged 13 years old, 10 years old and 4 years old

Duties: School collections, and drop-offs during travel weeks. Note that from next year the children will be across two campuses.Transport to and from extramural activities and sport.Homework supervision and support across primary and high-school level - checking that work is done, deadlines are met and study happens.Keeping on top of the school app, school emails and circulars, and flagging what we need to know.Medical and dental appointments, including getting a child to a doctor at short notice if required.Afternoon supervision and holiday cover.
Requirements:Must hold a valid drivers, animal friendly, proactive, organised
Start date: mid-October 2026 start - permanent contract
Salary: R10 500 per month (gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95)
