Job summary

IZI South Africa, based in Johannesburg, is seeking an experienced ATM Operations Team Leader to manage the ATM operations team at Standard Bank Head Office. You will ensure optimal ATM performance, service delivery and compliance with banking regulations.

You'll lead incident response, schedule cash replenishment, monitor uptime, and drive improvements while developing team members and coordinating with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years' experience in ATM operations, banking operations, or a related environment.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience working with ATM monitoring tools and banking systems.
• Sound understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within the financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the ATM Operations team to ensure high performance and service excellence.
• Monitor ATM network performance, uptime, and availability, ensuring proactive resolution of issues.
• Coordinate cash replenishment schedules and support accurate cash forecasting.
• Oversee ATM maintenance, fault resolution, and service provider performance.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security protocols, and internal policies.
• Analyse operational data and prepare reports on ATM performance, incidents, and trends.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Manage incidents, escalations, and emergency responses relating to ATM services.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to build a high-performing team.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure seamless ATM operations.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Banking, Operations Management, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field will be advantageous.
• 3 to 5 years' experience in ATM operations, banking operations, or a related environment.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Experience working with ATM monitoring tools and banking systems.
• Sound understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within the financial services environment.
