Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Sports Facility Maintenance Manager to oversee upkeep and operational readiness of athletic facilities in Polokwane. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in maintenance or operations.
• Strong knowledge of sports field construction, maintenance, and turf management.
• Familiarity with building systems, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Relevant certifications in facility management are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive preventative and reactive maintenance plans for all sports facilities.
• Supervise and direct a team of maintenance staff, including groundskeepers, technicians, and repair personnel.
• Ensure all athletic fields, courts, and indoor facilities are maintained to optimal playing and safety standards.
• Manage the procurement of maintenance supplies, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee the upkeep and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the facilities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs, and manage the maintenance budget for Polokwane.
