Placements24 is seeking a skilled Sports Facility Maintenance Technician to maintain and safeguard Mahikeng's sports venues. The role covers field upkeep, buildings, and equipment servicing to ensure safe, high-quality facilities for athletes and the community.

You will perform mowing, repairs, inspections, painting, minor plumbing and electrical tasks, and operate groundskeeping equipment. A strong work ethic and independent problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
• Skilled in general building maintenance, including basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.
• Experience with groundskeeping equipment and turf maintenance practices is a plus.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on sports fields, courts, and surrounding areas, including mowing, lining, and general upkeep.
