Job summary

Network Recruitment is seeking a client-facing finance professional with strong commercial acumen and technical expertise to lead financial modeling, valuations, and transaction execution across Project Finance and M&A mandates.

The role requires mentoring junior team members, engaging with lenders and investors, and delivering strategic financial advice across infrastructure sectors. A relevant degree and advanced certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• CA(SA), CFA, FMVA, MBA, or similar postgraduate qualification will be advantageous.
• 8–12 years' experience within Project Finance, Infrastructure Advisory, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory, or M&A.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation experience.
• Proven experience working on complex transactions from origination through execution.
• Exposure to infrastructure sectors such as renewable energy, water and sanitation, transport, mining, telecommunications, or broader infrastructure projects will be highly advantageous.
• Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, review, and presentation of complex financial models for infrastructure and project finance transactions.
• Perform business, project, and investment valuations using a range of valuation methodologies.
• Support and lead transaction execution across Project Finance, Infrastructure Advisory, Corporate Finance, and M&A mandates.
• Conduct financial due diligence, commercial analysis, and investment assessments.
• Prepare investment committee papers, client presentations, and transaction reports.
• Engage with lenders, investors, sponsors, legal advisors, and other key stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Provide strategic financial advice across sectors including renewable energy, water and sanitation, transport, utilities, and other infrastructure projects.
• Mentor and develop junior professionals while contributing to business development and client relationship management.
