KPMG South Africa is seeking an Associate Director, People & Change, HR Transformation, to lead senior advisory engagements in a digital HR transformation context. Qualifications

• Typically, a first degree and/or MBA/Masters in organisation design or a related field.
• Extensive advisory experience in one or more of the following industries: Financial Services, Telecoms, Public Sector, Retail, Media, Energy and mineral resources.
• 10+ years’ experience leading and delivering consulting projects, ideally with a people and change focus.
• Experience across people advisory areas: change management, operating model & organisation design, HR strategy, talent development.
• Strong project management skills; PM certifications would be desirable.
• Experience with emerging technologies to digitally transform the HR function.
• Clear experience in establishing and nurturing relationships internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements, acting as Project Director on projects, providing clear direction to cross-functional teams, and delivering on client objectives.
• Set the strategy for the team and support the development of skills and service offerings, in collaboration with People & Organisations regional leaders.
• Build on a strong client network and liaise closely with key client stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of set project outcomes.
• Lead and contribute to business development, including identifying work opportunities in existing client relationships, developing compelling and winning proposals and pitch documents.
• Work with the wider leadership team to define clear direction, report on financials, people management, etc.
• Lead project planning and scoping by outlining full projects/activities and resources required, e.g. time, people, and skills.
• Lead the delivery of good project commercial outcomes by pricing build up, negotiation, demonstrating good commercial discipline, and leading to ensure the project commercially delivers against Operational Performance business plans.
