About the Role

Our client, a respected financial institution in the heart of Sandton, Gauteng , is actively seeking to recruit a driven Associate Corporate Counsel. This role is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with 2-4 years of experience to develop their career within a dynamic corporate legal environment. The Associate Corporate Counsel will assist in providing legal support on a variety of corporate and commercial matters, including contract review, regulatory compliance, and transactional assistance. The successful candidate will work closely with senior legal counsel and business stakeholders to ensure legal requirements are met and risks are effectively managed. We are looking for an ambitious individual with a strong foundational knowledge of corporate law and a keen interest in financial services. This position is based at our prestigious Sandton, Gauteng office.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements.
• Provide legal support on corporate governance matters and compliance issues.
