Job summary

MH Solutions is seeking a WMS Key User to ensure effective use, support and continuous improvement of the Warehouse Management System in daily operations. You will bridge warehouse operations, IT and management, ensuring smooth system performance, end-user training and participation in upgrades.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required.
• MS Office literacy required.
• Key user of WMS, preferably JDA Dispatcher (Red Prairie).
• 2 years in logistics/ warehousing or related business.
• 1–2 years as super-user, key-user, or system support.
• Experience in system rollouts, UAT, or training.
• Willing to travel locally and internationally (Gauteng, SA and beyond).

• Troubleshoot errors and escalate to WMS/IT support.

Job description

The main purpose of the role:

The WMS Key Useris responsible forensuringthe effectiveuse, support, and continuous improvement of theWarehouse Management System within daily operations. Acting as the link between warehouse operations, ITteams, and management, the Key User ensures smooth system performance, provides end-user support andtraining, andparticipatesin system upgrades or process improvement initiatives—executionofsystem-driven warehouseactivities to ensure maximum productivity andworkloadbalancing.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Operations & Support

• Serve as the first point of contact for warehouse staff on WMS-related issues

• Monitor system performance and ensure transactions are processed correctly

• Troubleshoot errors and elevate unresolved issues to the WMS/IT support team

• Test new functionalities, upgrades, or patches before deployment

• Manage UAT for system updates and changes

• Process & Data Management

• Ensure accuracy of master data (SKU setup, bin locations, stock attributes)

• Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock adjustments, and reconciliation

• Validate inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse transactions in the system

• Report system or process anomalies to management

• Training & Knowledge Sharing

• Train and guide warehouse staff on WMS processes and best practices

• Update andmaintainuser manuals and process documentation

• Act as a subject matter expert during audits and compliance checks

• Continuous Improvement

• Analyze daily operations for process bottlenecks or system inefficiencies

• Suggest improvements in workflows and system usage

• Support new project rollouts, WMS implementations, and integrations

• Travel: Reasonable local and international travel requirement to use knowledge,skillsand experience insupport of relevant DSV business objectives

• Warehouse Management Systems: Knowledge of key functions and features of systems usedby ,insupport of solutions development, sales activities, and implementations; knowledgeofRedPrairie/Blue Yonder/JDA will be beneficial

• Support: Support current instances of WMS implementations

• Assessments of current WMS solutions

• Liaison with various global IT teams,including EDI. IT Solutions and support, Global BCM applicationengineering

Requirements:

• Grade 12

• Intermediate computer literacy level in MS Word, Excel,PowerPointand Outlook

• Key user of Warehouse Management Systems,preferably JDA Dispatcher (Red Prairie)

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Logistics/ supply chain/ warehousing orlikely Business.

• At least 1–2 years in a system super-user, key-user, or system support role.

• Proven experience in system rollouts, UAT, or training.

• Unendorsed license & own transport.

• Ability to travel around Gauteng, South Africa &internationally,

• Excellent written& verbalcommunicationskills.

• Strong interpersonal skills & able to work in a collaborative& team-based environment.

• Aptitude to multi-task & employ effectiveproblem-solvingabilities.

• Previousexperience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Inventory Controller, or System Super User.

• Participation in system rollouts, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), or training programs.

• Knowledgeofleanwarehousing principles and process automation.
