Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant in Milnerton to support financial administration and reporting for the portfolio. Reporting to the Financial Manager, you will ensure accurate accounts, coordinate payments and reconciliations, and assist with timely month-end processes.

You will gain exposure to owner payments, rent-related reporting and audit readiness while collaborating with property managers and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• 2–3 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Strong reconciliation, payments and month-end accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare owner payment schedules, load approved payments and distribute confirmations.
• Compile owner disbursement packs with payment schedules and reports.
• Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain tenant deposit schedules and reconcile balances.
• Coordinate transfers between operational and deposit investment accounts.
• Prepare month-end journals including accruals and adjustments.
