Job summary

DO MORE Group is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant in Milnerton, Cape Town, to support financial administration and reporting for our portfolio. You will work under the Financial Manager, helping maintain accurate accounts, coordinate payments and reconciliations, and ensure month-end processes are completed on time.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 2–3 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Experience with reconciliations, owner payments and month-end accounting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with accounting principles, general ledger and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare owner payment schedules, load approved payments and distribute confirmations.
• Compile owner disbursement packs with payment schedules and NOI/profit-share reports.
• Complete monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations; investigate discrepancies and clear items.
• Maintain tenant deposit schedules and reconcile balances; account for interest.
• Prepare month-end journals (accruals, corrections) and debtor adjustments.
• Support month-end reporting and respond to financial queries from managers and owners.
