Qualifications

• Qualified with a Finance or Accounting degree (BCom or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in financial accounting
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting principles
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software (Sage or Xero)
• Attention to detail with high accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and reporting deadlines across entities
• Exposure to forecasting, cash flow management, reporting automation, KPI dashboards, and strategic finance support

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and year-end closes across three entities.
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany allocations.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts across all entities and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in monthly management accounts, consolidated reports, and entity-level reporting.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable across the group as needed.
• Assist with VAT returns and statutory obligations for all entities.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors; provide schedules and documentation.
• Maintain fixed asset registers for each entity.
• Monitor and report cash flow across the group.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and adherence to SA regulations.
• Identify process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency.
