Job summary

Network Finance seeks a senior accounting professional to support the Financial Manager in Randburg and oversee the daily finance function. You will drive accuracy in reporting and guide a small finance team.

You will prepare monthly management accounts, manage month-end and year-end close, and ensure VAT and tax compliance while mentoring junior staff. A clear path to a Financial Manager role is offered.

Qualifications

• Completed Articles (SAICA, SAIPA, or equivalent)
• 5+ years post-articles accounting experience
• Completed BCom Accounting Degree or Accounting Diploma
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, and financial reporting standards
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems
• Previous experience supervising or mentoring finance staff will be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Assist the Financial Manager in overseeing the day-to-day finance function
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports

• Review reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial data
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

• Support annual audits and liaise with external auditors
