Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assistant Financial Controller for a luxury safari estate in Hazyview, Mpumalanga. The role focuses on daily financial operations, reporting, budgeting and ensuring internal controls within a hospitality setting.

You will prepare management accounts, oversee accounts payable/receivable, support month-end close and assist audits. The position is full-time in Hazyview with a negotiable salary depending on experience.

Formación

• Minimum financial qualification in accounting or finance.
• Experience in financial accounting or assistant controller.
• Experience in hospitality/lodge advantageous.
• Proficient in accounting principles and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with daily financial operations and accounting.
• Prepare financial reports, reconciliations and management accounts.
• Monitor budgets and expenditures.
• Support month-end and year-end closing.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger transactions.
• Ensure internal controls compliance.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Support audits and improve reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with management to improve financial efficiency.
