Job summary

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Financial Controller for a luxury safari estate in Hazyview, Mpumalanga. You will manage daily financial operations, prepare reports, and support budgeting and forecasting.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in financial accounting or as an Assistant FC, a relevant finance qualification, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work with management to improve reporting accuracy. Luxury hospitality experience is advantageous.

• Proven experience in a financial accounting or assistant financial controller role.
• Previous experience within a luxury hospitality, hotel or lodge environment would be advantageous.
• A relevant financial qualification in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail, integrity and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
