Job summary

SRG Recruitment (Pty) Ltd is seeking an Assistant Financial Accountant (Reporting) in Pinetown, KwaZulu Natal. The role supports the monthly reporting cycle, reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting, and audit activities within a dynamic finance team in the chemical manufacturing sector.

The ideal candidate holds a degree/diploma in accounting or finance, has 3-5 years of related experience, strong Excel skills, and hands-on experience with SAGE X3 and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3-5 years' experience in a finance or accounting environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with SAGE X3 and ERP systems.
• Finnivo experience is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports and reconciliations.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Support external and internal audits and ensure statutory compliance.
• Collaborate with the Reporting Accountant on financial reporting functions.

Reporting into the Reporting Accountant, you will support the financial reporting function through the preparation of monthly reports, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, audit support and statutory compliance.

The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field, have 3-5 years' experience in a finance or accounting environment, have advanced Microsoft Excel skills, SAGE X3 and have experience working on an ERP system, with Finnivo experience highly advantageous.
