Job summary

Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd is seeking an Artisan Assistant to support the maintenance of equipment and plant on site in East London, within the Eastern Cape. The role requires Matric and 1–2 years’ experience in similar work, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You’ll work under rotating shifts, including after-hours and overtime, in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates bring industry knowledge, familiarity with the OHS Act, and strong planning and people skills.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate is required.
• 1–2 years' experience as an artisan assistant preferred.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall equipment and plant effectiveness on site.
• Assist with routine maintenance and basic repairs.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure safe, efficient operations.
